About the Choir

Severn Voices is a chamber choir for people who love singing the great choral works from past and present.
The choir enjoys singing a diverse and challenging repertoire from beautiful classics to new works by living composers. We love singing pieces by composers from our local area as the Malvern Hills seem to inspire music.

As Edward Elgar, who was born near Worcester, said, "Music is all around you. Take as much as you want!"

Severn Voices rehearses weekly at St. Clement's School, Worcester.  Each year the choir performs a number of concerts at venues in the areas around the Severn Valley. Feel free to join us and excite and stimulate by singing in a choir. There's nothing quite like it.

As the great Elizabethan composer William Byrd said:

Since singing is so good a thing,

I wish all men would learn to sing.
