This concert features the Sabrina Players Baroque band to accompany Monteverdi's joyful Beatus Vir and Durante's Magnificat - formerly attributed to the better-known Pergolesi. We pair these Baroque masterpieces with a cappella Renaissance polyphony by Victoria, Palestrina and Lassus. The venue is Old St. Martin's Church in Worcester's Cornmarket.
