Evangelist, Peter Wilman.
Born in Gloucester, Peter first sang as a treble in the cathedral choir under the direction of John Sanders before gaining a Masters in piano under Ronald Smith in Canterbury. In addition to numerous operatic roles with a wide range of companies, he has sung much of the oratorio repertoire from Bach, Handel, Mozart and Haydn through to Rossini, Britten and Janacek. Peter is also an experienced recitalist performing not only contemporary works but also song cycles by Schubert, Schumann, Britten and Finzi . He has also sung for the Gurney Society, the Holst society, supported by the Vaughan Williams Trust, and recently at the Gloucester History Festival. Many of these appearances were accompanied by Philip Collin. Other concerts include On Wenlock Edge with the Fitzwilliam quartet and Dies Natalis in Canterbury conducted by Christopher Finzi.

Sebastian Field has been singing countertenor for nearly twenty years now. I read English Literature at Bristol University and have sustained an interest, especially in poetry, Shakespeare, musical settings of poetry and other literature. I am better at collecting books than reading them, but writing and researching for our various musical projects gives me focus. I particularly enjoy devising programmes of words and music based around an historical narrative. I was a city councillor in Gloucester for nine years, culminating in a year as Mayor in 2015/16. I am able to talk and work constructively with politicians on all sides, and believe in positivity whenever possible. Gloucester has a fantastic future, as well as a past to be proud of. As a singer I have performed with choral societies across the country, have sung solos on BBC Radio 3 and in the Royal Albert Hall, and am a member of several ensembles including The Proteus Ensemble, Aldwyn Voices and The John S Davies Singers.
